This, in our opinion, is the best of the 2 5 star hotels in Galway. Situated on 200 acres of grounds right on the edge of Lough Corrib, Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate offers 5-star accommodation in a picturesque setting in the west of Ireland.

Dating back to the 18th century, this wonderful property boasts 50 luxurious rooms with en suite marble bathrooms, air conditioning, turndown service, and flat-screen TV’s.

Converted into a restaurant car, the on-site Pullman restaurant offers a memorable dining experience. There is also the River Room Restaurant that boasts magnificent views of the estate and Lough Corrib.
