Drones have caused a bit of a revolution within the tourism marketing industry over the last couple of years.
Trackback five years or so and the only aerial footage you’d ever see would be from a helicopter or from drone that’d cost you the price of a small car.
Over the last couple of years, however, we’ve seen the number of drone owners catapult with tonnes of footage being uploaded to the web every day.
Whether it’s giving viewers an insight of what it’s like to stand at the edge of the Cliffs of Moher, to offering a glimpse inside the Poolbeg Chimneys, drones have the ability to take us to places we’ve never before seen.
The video above was shot by Peter Cox during his Atlantic Light project of the Wild Atlantic Way, and is an absolute masterpiece that really tugs at the heartstrings.
