However, deciding where to stay in Dingle can be tricky, especially if you can’t decide between staying at the heart of the action or outside of the main town.

In the guide below, you’ll discover the best accommodation in Dingle, from fancy hotels to gorgeous guesthouses and everything in-between.

I’m going to kick things off by showing you some of our favourite Dingle hotels, from the brilliant Dingle Skellig to the often overlooked Dingle Bay. If you’re after B&Bs, see our Dingle bed and breakfast guide.

Note: if you book a stay through one of the links below we may make a tiny commission that helps us keep this site going. You won’t pay extra, but we really do appreciate it.

1. The Dingle Skellig

The Dingle Skellig

Our first spot is one of the best-known hotels in Dingle and one of the more popular spa hotels in Ireland. I’m talking, of course, about the brilliant Dingle Skellig.

Located a couple of minutes walk from the town’s busy streets, this Dingle accommodation overlooks the stunning Dingle Bay.

The hotel boasts a wide array of amenities designed to cater to guest’s needs, like the luxurious spa, the indoor heated pool and a fully kitted out gym.

Families visiting Dingle will appreciate the kids’ club and outdoor playground. There’s also an excellent restaurant (speaking from experience) and the best pubs in Dingle are within easy walking distance.

If you’re in search of Dingle hotels with a swimming pool on-site, you can’t go wrong with a night or two at the Skellig.

2. The Dingle Bay

The Dingle Bay

This is one of the few family-run hotels in Dingle and it boasts a location right across from the marina in the town.

The Dingle Bay Hotel is a stone’s throw away from a plethora of shops, pubs, and many of the the best restaurants in Dingle.

Although the rooms are relatively basic, they’re bright, clean and have everything you’ll need for a few days on the Dingle Peninsula.

The hotel is also home to Paudie’s Bar where you can sample hearty meals and catch traditional Irish music sessions.

If you’re looking for central hotels in Dingle with top-notch reviews, you won’t go wrong here.

3. Dingle Benner’s

Dingle Benner’s

I’d argue that the Dingle Benner’s is one of the best hotels in Kerry – boasting cozy rooms with an Old-World charm, it makes a very comfortable base to explore from.

Benner’s is arguably the best-known of the many Dingle hotels and it’s situated right on the Main Street.

It offers guests a blend of traditional Irish charm and contemporary comfort with tastefully designed, well-appointed bedrooms and an excellent in-house bar that dishes up tasty meals.

If you’re only visiting for a night or two and you want to stay at the heart of the hustle and bustle, this Dingle accommodation is hard to beat!

4. Seaview Heights

We’re going to move away from the hotels in Dingle for a moment and take you to the brilliant Seaview Heights.

Located in the town and offering glorious sea views, Seaview Heights offers some of our favourite Dingle accommodation for good reason.

Seaview Heights boasts bright, comfortable and finely decked-out rooms with views of the surrounding countryside stealing the show.

After a sound night’s sleep make your way to the breakfast room for a tasty full Irish breakfast before heading off for the day and exploring the many things to do in Dingle.

5. Sraid Eoin House

Another popular Dingle accommodation is Sraid Eoin House, which has been family-owned since 1992.

Newly refurnished, it’s located in the heart of Dingle Town. Five plush guest rooms are tastefully furnished and decorated and each has modern ensuite bathrooms with shower.

Close to pubs and shops, Sraid Eoin House is one of the best B&Bs in Dingle if you like to go off TripAdvisor reviews.

6. Hotel Ceann Sibeal

Hotel Ceann Sibeal

The first of our hotels in Dingle that isn’t in the town itself is the hugely popular Hotel Ceann Sibeal in Ballyferriter Village.

This makes a great alternative to many of the Dingle accommodation options above, as it’s away from the busy town.

Located in Ballyferriter Village, which sits on Slea Head, Hotel Ceann Sibeal is surrounded by Smerwick Harbour and gorgeous beaches.

The beds are big and comfortable, and with the quiet location, you can get a great sleep before and after heading out a long day’s hike.

If you’re in search of cosy Dingle hotels that you won’t want to leave, Hotel Ceann Sibeal is worth a look (the review online are excellent!).

Arguably some of the more popular Dingle accommodation on offer, Murphy’s is a family-run B&B on Strand Street, just 100m from the harbour and Oceanworld Aquarium.

Spacious rooms are modern and tastefully furnished with ensuite bathrooms. They include a flatscreen TV and hairdryer. Rates include free Wi-Fi.

You’re a short stroll from many of the best restaurants in Dingle, too!

10. Greenmount House

Greenmount House

Only a 5-minute walk from Dingle town will take you to the luxury that is Greenmount House. Set quietly on an elevated position, you have a panoramic view of Dingle Bay.

Relax in one of the many areas around the house where you can sit and read (there’s a book exchange system) or take advantage of the cosy TV lounge.

Much of the food on offer is homemade, and it’s delicious. Like the rest of the house, the bedrooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and spacious; luxury is the aim, and it’s been carried off with style.

When it comes to style, Greenmount House could go toe-to-toe with the best hotels in Dingle!

11. Barr Na Sraide Inn

This Dingle Main Street staple is a popular B&B for domestic and international tourists looking to soak up all the ambience of Dingle town centre.

The exterior may look like a traditional Irish pub, but inside the Barr Na Sraide Inn will take you by surprise.

Rooms are contemporary and luxurious, with flat-screen televisions and local art adorning the walls.

Head downstairs for breakfast in the light and airy dining room before unwinding with a perfectly poured pint of the black stuff of an evening in front of a roaring fire.
