You Can Rent A Luxury Penthouse Apartment in Galway City With 6 Mates For €88 Each

I love Galway. But the one thing that often hinders a trip there for me is the cost of decent accommodation.

I’m past the years of kipping in a 10-person dorm room and I’m still a bit away from being in any way comfortable with forking out €200 quid for a night in a hotel.

So, I tend to scout for decent places to stay that won’t lamp my bank account out of it.

These tend to come in the form of Airbnbs that, when you head off with a group, can work out pretty damn cheap.

A luxury Airbnb in Galway City with a savage sea view and a very swanky interior

There’s a heap of luxury Airbnbs in Ireland, but this is one of the first one that I’ve come across in a while that offers insane value for money.

You’ll find this Airbnb on the waterfront, smack bang in the middle of the action in Galway City.

Some quick info

  • A night here will cost you as little as €88 per person per night (more info below)
  • It offers stunning sea views throughout
  • It’s a 5-minute stroll from Eyre Square

Take a look inside

If 50 Cent had a holiday home in Galway, it’d look like this place.

Marble, wood, glass, and chrome all come together to give this apartment a striking contemporary look.

Although the apartment sleeps up to 7 people, you’ll be flipping a coin over who sleeps where.

There are two double-bedrooms (one of which has a fold-out bed) which sleep 5, while there’s another fold-out double bed in the living room that’ll sleep another 2.

The bedrooms

The bedrooms are just as stylish as the main living space.

They also treat guests to magnificent ocean views.

The icing on the cake: The view

One of the biggest draws that this place has is its sheltered, south-facing balcony.

From here, guests can kick-back with a drink before an evening on the town and gaze out at the icy Atlantic.
