The Kilkee Bay Hotel is a fabulous base that will help you make the most of your stay in the town. You’re close to the beach and the cliff walk and you’re a stone’s throw from many of the best places to visit in Clare, too!

The airy, spacious rooms include TVs, tea/coffee-making facilities and ensuite bathrooms with free toiletries. Your breakfast can be the full Irish, complete with wheaten bread and mouth-watering sausages or something lighter, if you fancy!

Darby’s Bistro and Pub prides itself on the selection of fresh, locally sourced food it provides to diners – steaks, mussels and more. The pub and bistro features occasional live music and there’s a large-screen TV showing sports.

If you’re in search of Kilkee hotels that make the perfect base for an adventure, you can’t go wrong with a weekend spent here.

The award-winning, family run Bay View is one of our favourite hotels in Clare and it has been in the Hickie family since the 1880s and is a great place to unwind.

Beautifully decorated, the double rooms offer visitors spectacular views of the beach and are ensuite with free wi-fi. To eat, you can opt for the Pier Restaurant run by head chef, Aidan Feeney. The restaurant looks out over the bay and has its original parquet flooring.

The perfect spot for an intimate meal deux a deux, the menu offers diners locally sourced, traceable ingredients with everything cooked to order. Choose from seafood chowder, the Black Angus beefburger or the Wild Atlantic catch of the day.

Hickies Bar is a lively, traditional Irish bar, where you’ll be able to listen to live music every Saturday night, and more often in the summer months. If you’re in search of Kilkee hotels for a special occasion, you can’t go wrong with a night at the Bay View.
