Two big aul Killer Whales were spotted off the coast of Dublin over the weekend.
According to the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group, at 13:30 on Sat. 17th Nov., whilst fishing some 6 miles east of Rockabill, Co. Dublin, a crew observed and filmed a pair of adult male killer whales.
Where they were spotted
The magnificent scene was captured by trawlerman James Mac Cluskey.
John believes that two whales are ‘John Coe’ and ‘Dopey Dick’ of the Scottish West Coast Community group of killer whales.
