Whether you’re looking for a tasty brunch after a morning spent tackling the many things to do in Enniscrone or a relaxing dinner with friends, there’s no shortage of restaurants in Enniscrone fine feed.
In the guide below, you’ll discover the best Enniscrone restaurants on offer, with a little bit of something to tickle every fancy.
Our favourite restaurants in Enniscrone
The first section of our guide to the best restaurants in Enniscrone tackles our favourite places to eat in Enniscrone.
These are pubs and restaurants that we (one of the Irish Road Trip team) have munched away in at some point over the years. Dive on in!
1. Gilroy’s Bar and Ait Eile Restaurant
The award-winning Ait Eile Restaurant is one of our go-tos in Enniscrone for a bit of grub that never fails to delight the tastebuds.
Ait Eile is well-known for its locally sourced produce and fresh seafood, particularly it’s seafood linguine and crispy cod.
The desert here is also the business (give the orange starfruit cheesecake if it’s on the menu).
The fact that you can nip into Gilroy’s pub after is the icing on the cake (Guinness fans – you’ll be glad to know that the pints here are creamy and perfectly poured). This is one of our favourite restaurants in Sligo for a reason.
2. The Pilot Bar
For a great gastropub on Main Street, the Pilot Bar boats great food and an infectious atmosphere that will keep you returning time and time again.
It serves up delicious pub grub, with popular options including seafood chowder, a variety of pizzas and ‘the usuals’, like burgers and classic fish and chips.
The bar also serves up a superb Guinness, so if you’re looking for a post-surf drink, the Pilot Bar is worth a look.
3. Spicy Affair Indian Restaurant
For some truly delicious Indian food, Spicy Affair never disappoints. The food on offer here is the finest South Asia has to offer.
If you’re not a fan of spicy food, don’t fret – the menu here has plenty of options to choose from with everything from Curries and Biryanis to juicy prawns, veggie dishes and much more on offer.
Located just off the main street, it’s a nice alternative to pub grub and you can even opt for take away if you fancy kicking back with a feed out by the sea.

3. The Ocean Bar
The reason this place is one of our favourites is actually nothing to do with the food, but it’s incredible beachfront location. Looking straight out onto Enniscrone Beach, it has an unbeatable view for a meal or a drink with friends.
That’s not to say that the food isn’t good, in fact, they serve up some very tasty dishes, with lunch and dinner available.
You can expect to find everything from roast pork and fresh seafood to delicious curries on the menu here. All of which is sourced from high quality local suppliers.
4. Pizzeria La Piazzetta
Located right in the centre of town, this pizzeria has almost perfect reviews for its traditional-style pizza, at the time of typing.
If you’re not into pizza, they also serve other classic Italian dishes including risotto and pasta, with an extensive wine list and good coffee to go along with it. Basically, everything that you could want from an Italian restaurant you’ll get here.

5. The Coral
The Coral is a popular spot that you’ll find inside the 4-star Diamond Coast Hotel. The elegant restaurant is known for its local produce, including delicious seafood and meat dishes.
Visitors here can expect everything from seared chicken supreme and roast of the day to Thai curries, char grilled port Teriyaki and much more.
It’s the perfect place to head for the whole family whether you’re a guest at the hotel or not. They offer an affordable menu, with a separate and substantial kid’s menu for the little ones too.
6. Enniscrone Golf Club Bar and Restaurant
Convenient for those playing a round of golf, the bar and restaurant at the golf club in Enniscrone is a popular place to head for some good food.
The chef and team here serve up high quality dishes crafted with locally sourced produce with breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.
The menu offers a range of classic meals including seafood chowder, steak, burgers and all-day cooked breakfasts. Serving sizes are generous and the prices are pretty fair.
7. Waterfront House and Restaurant
Located just out of town on Cliff Road, this restaurant is located inside a gorgeous property that overlooks the ocean. You can opt for breakfast, lunch and dinner, here.
All the food is locally sourced where possible and they also offer a vegetarian menu for those looking to go meat-free.
The Waterfront gets incredible reviews for the service and their delicious meals, so for a quiet meal out of town it’s a great option.
