Coast Kilmore Quay is located just outside the town centre, a 5-minutes walk from the centre of the town. This 3-star hotel has an easygoing atmosphere and you can choose from several types of rooms from en-suite double rooms and twin rooms to family rooms.

All bedrooms come with contemporary furniture, a flat screen TV,  ironing facilities, a hairdryer and complimentary tea and coffee facilities. All en-suite rooms are located around a central courtyard.

Coast Kilmore Quay is also home to ‘the Burrow’ restaurant serving both local and international dishes.

2. The Wooden House Hotel

The second of our hotels in Kilmore Quay is The Wooden House which is situated at the very heart of the town. This Hotel was bought by Canbe Hospitality in 2019 and has been recently refurbished (hit play on the video above to see).

Each of the rooms come with a flatscreen tv, a seating area, a closet and a desk. Some of the bedrooms also have a lovely view of the sea and free parking is available to all guests.

This location also features a restaurant serving local seafood as well as a lounge area. 

3. Carmel’s Lodge

Carmel’s Lodge is situated on the edge of Kilmore Quay, just past the Coast Hotel, around a 6-minute ramble from the town centre. This little cottage features two bedrooms and can host up to four people.

Carmel’s Lodge comes with a fully equipped kitchen including a microwave, a fridge/freezer, an electric oven and a washing machine. This property also has an outside sitting area and a spacious living room with a woodburner.

Although the photos aren’t great, the reviews for this Kilmore Quay accommodation are excellent.

Ambrose Mews B&B is located in Duncormick, a handy 15-minute drive from Kilmore Quay. Each of the rooms in the property feature a TV, a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.

Some of the bedrooms come with en-suite shower rooms while others have access to a private external bathroom with a spa bath. Free WIFI is available in the entire property and all guests have access to a parking area. 

2. Oak Tree Lane Bed & Breakfast (10-minute drive)

Oak Tree Lane B&B is located in Bridgetown 6.5 km (4 miles) north of Kilmore Quay. This property has several types of rooms, from large double rooms to triple rooms and twin rooms.

Each bedroom comes with free toiletries, a shower and a hairdryer. This property features a spacious terrace, a garden and a shared lounge area. You can also opt for a continental breakfast in the mornings.

3. Brookvale B&B (10-minute drive)

Our next B&B has better reviews than the various hotels in Kilmore Quay (9.9/10 from 136 Booking.com reviews) and it’s well worth considering at just a 10-minute drive from the town. This B&B has been awarded the Tripadvisor 2021 and 2020 Best of the Best Traveler’s Choice and the 2021 and 2020 Booking.com Traveller Review Award.

Each bedroom comes with toiletries, bath towels, slippers, a hairdryer, a tv and ironing facilities. On your arrival you will also find tea, coffee and biscuits to welcome you to your room. There’s also a delicious breakfast on offer each morning.

4. Sandawana (25-minute drive)

Sandawana is situated in Our Lady’s Island a 25-minute drive from Kilmore Quay. This modern B&property has several room types – a deluxe double room with a shower, a deluxe double studio and a spacious one bedroom apartment.

All units have their own private entrance and come with a private bathroom with toiletries, a shower and a hairdryer. The studios also feature a small kitchen equipped with a toaster, a microwave, a fridge as well as a kettle for your morning tea, while the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a stove and a dishwasher.

What Kilmore Quay accommodation is good for a family?

If you can grab one of the holiday homes that’s probably your best bet price/convenience wise. However, some hotels do have family rooms.
