If you fancy kicking back by a lake this summer, this gorgeous gaff should be right up your street.
Finely plonked just above the beautiful Lough Atorick in County Galway, this home-from-home is a mighty little spot for a break in 2021.
And we (somehow) managed to miss it when writing our guide to the best lakeside Airbnbs in Ireland…
Below, you’ll find everything from how much a few nights will set you back to the various amenities that house boasts.
Welcome to the Lake House at Lough Atorick
Nestled just above Lough Atorick, the Lake House is a perfect destination for a romantic weekend getaway in the west of Ireland. Guests can look forward to outdoor activities like swimming in the lake and enjoying forest walks.
The house has 3 nicely decorated bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 people. The log burner gives you a great cosy feeling in winter, while the outdoor terrace offers panoramic views of the lake.
A lovely house in a stunning, remote location
The Lake House is situated in the secluded Slieve Aughty Mountains which means that peace and quiet is guaranteed.
Pour a glass of wine and enjoy sunset views over the lake from your own private terrace. Guests will also have an opportunity to interact with farm animals and try locally grown vegetables.
Access to 30 acres of private land
In addition to a modern yet charming accommodation with magnificent lake views and all the necessary amenities needed for a comfortable stay, guests have access to more than 30 acres of private land.
Feel free to explore the expansive woodland area, meet happy hens who provide owners with tasty free-range eggs, and enjoy west Ireland’s unspoiled nature.
How much a night will set you back
