1. Katie Daly’s Bar and Restaurant

Katie Daly’s

Katie Daly’s sits in the centre of Gorey and has earned its reputation the straightforward way – by serving consistently good food every day of the week. Expect crowd-pleasers like Kilmore haddock in tempura batter, slow-braised short rib, Glin Valley roast chicken, and a line-up of burgers, steaks and pastas that actually justify their spot on the menu. Lighter options, gourmet sandwiches and vegan dishes round it out, making it an easy choice whether you’re stopping in for a quick feed or settling in for the evening. With a lively bar, cosy seating, sports on screen and a long-standing local following, Katie Daly’s delivers the sort of reliable, good-value dining that keeps people coming back. 2. Table Forty One

Table Forty One

Table Forty One is one of the newest restaurants in Gorey, and it has quickly carved out a reputation as the town’s most refined dining room. Led by chef-owner Andrew Duncan, it’s a Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand restaurant that specialises in tight, seasonal menus built around the best local produce. Duncan runs a one-chef kitchen and changes the menu every week, offering just three starters, three mains, two desserts and a cheese board. The approach is simple: small menu, high standards, and dishes that shift with whatever is freshest. His signature fillet steak with mushroom and smoked bacon jam has already become a favourite. If you want a dinner that feels considered, personal and a step above the norm – without the stiffness that usually comes with fine dining – Table Forty One is the place to book.

3. The Kitchen @ Gorey

The Kitchen Gorey

The Kitchen@Gorey keeps things simple: take the best local ingredients you can get, treat them with care, and serve food that’s refined without ever feeling fussy. That approach has made it one of the best restaurants in Gorey, with a menu that moves from wood-fired pizzas to seafood, steaks, burgers and pastas, all backed by solid technique and strong sourcing. The kitchen leans heavily on Irish producers – Kilmore Quay fish, Hereford beef, Meyler’s seafood – and the results show in dishes like lemon-and-dill battered haddock, pan-fried seabass with prawns and capers, and slow-cooked pulled pork. Lighter options, salads and a full pizza menu round things out, and the blackboard specials (ribs night, wings night, mix boards) have built their own following.

4. The Bistro

The Bistro

The Bistro keeps its focus exactly where it should be: on fresh, local produce and a menu that changes daily to make the most of it. Now based at 22 Main Street, it specialises in prime Irish Certified Hereford beef and locally sourced seafood, supported by a small selection of seasonal meat and poultry dishes that shift with whatever is best that week. Everything is cooked to order, dietary needs are handled without fuss, and there’s a children’s menu for families. The wine list is taken seriously, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the constantly evolving menu means no two visits feel the same. If you want a straightforward, locally driven dinner in the centre of town, The Bistro remains one of the best places to eat in Gorey!

5. Eco Pizzeria

Eco Pizzeria has been a Main Street staple for years, and under its new ownership it continues to deliver exactly what people come for: dependable wood-fired pizzas, a broad menu of international dishes and a busy, all-day dining setup that works for groups, families and casual evenings out. The kitchen covers plenty of ground – classic pizzas, pastas, burgers, Asian-style dishes and crowd-pleasing comfort food – making it one of the most versatile places to eat in Gorey. Takeaway and delivery run alongside full dine-in service, and its long opening hours mean it’s an easy option any day of the week. If you want somewhere central, unfussy and consistently reliable, Eco remains one of Gorey’s go-to restaurants.

6. Mi Street Food

Mi Street Food brings the flavour and energy of Asia’s night markets into the centre of Gorey. The menu takes its cues from places like Chiang Mai, Jakarta and Bangkok – big flavours, quick cooking and dishes built around the balance that defines good Asian street food. Expect a tight, punchy selection of stir-fries, noodles, curries and small plates, all designed to deliver strong flavour without overcomplicating things. It’s casual, fast and reliably tasty, whether you’re dining in or grabbing something to go. If you’re after something different from the usual pub-and-pizza circuit, Mi Asian Street Food is one of the more distinctive options in town.

One Hundred Degrees is the product of chef-owner Praba’s 25 years working across a wide mix of world cuisines, from classical training in the South of France to restaurants that shaped his approach to flavour and presentation. The result is a dining room on Main Street that blends Irish ingredients with global influences, delivering dishes that feel polished, contemporary and genuinely creative. The kitchen builds its menus around seasonal availability and a long list of Wexford suppliers – fish from Camolin, beef and lamb from Gorey, berries from local farms, craft beer from Brew Brothers, and cheese and charcuterie from respected Irish producers. The cooking leans on both traditional and modern techniques, with flavours that pull confidently from Europe, Asia and beyond.

8. Coach House Gastro Bar

The Coach House Gastro Bar is one of Gorey’s busiest casual dining spots, known for generous portions, solid pub cooking and a lively atmosphere, especially at weekends. The menu leans into crowd-pleasers – think burgers, wings, fish and chips, lasagne, roasts and daily specials – with several gluten-free options, too. Diners can expect an easygoing, family-friendly feel, with large groups and walk-ins filling the place fast at peak times. If you’re after relaxed pub food right in the centre of town, The Coach House remains one of Gorey’s most popular go-to spots.
