The cottage is a lavishly decorated home with a real cosy atmosphere tucked amongst dense greenery.
It’s conveniently located just off the Ring of Kerry with Sneem being the nearest town, just 4km away. There are numerous walks nearby as well as plenty of pretty seaside villages to explore.
However, if you don’t want to leave the estate, you’ve lots to keep you entertained right on your doorstep. You have access to the private gardens, the outdoor heated pool, a fire pit and outdoor seating areas inside the estate grounds.

Undoubtedly the most unique aspect of this cottage is its garden surroundings. The entire estate covers an area of 10 acres with tropical plants, woodlands and lush ferns.
At the southern perimeter, the property overlooks Kenmare Bay. Although sharing with other luxury houses on the property, you’ll have plenty of space to yourself.
The heated outdoor pool is obviously another highlight of the garden and, if the weather’s warm enough, you can relax in the sun on the deck chairs.

The interior of this cottage is gorgeous. It strikes a perfect balance of old and modern, with Persian style floor rugs and patterned curtains along with clean white walls decorated with contemporary prints.
There’s plenty of splashes of colour in the décor. The cosy lounge room is where you’ll want to relax. It has a fireplace with plush couches in bold colours.
It also features a nice sized television on the wall which you can kick back in front of after a hard day spent exploring.
What you can expect if you visit
The cottage has three bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed. There’s one main bathroom which is very spacious, plus another separate toilet.
You also have access to other amenities, including:
- Outdoor heated pool
- Outdoor fire pit and grill
- Free parking on premises
- Indoor fireplace
- Full self-catering kitchen
- Lounge with flat-screen TV
- Washing machine and dryer
How much a night will set you back
There’s a two-night minimum stay here but it works out incredibly affordable if staying with a group of four or more.
I put in a weekend in December for five people sharing. Here’s how much it worked out at:
