1. Long Quay House
Boasting a superb, waterfront location in the very centre of town and a stone throw from some of the best Kinsale restaurants, Long Quay House is among our favourite bed and breakfast in Kinsale.
The 4-star establishment provides a wide range of suites and rooms, some with sea views, but all featuring en suite bathrooms, TV, a sitting area, and wonderfully comfortable bedding. 2. Friar’s Lodge (one of our favourite B&Bs in Kinsale)
Friars Lodge is another bed and breakfast in Kinsale that’s hard to beat. It’s a little more affordable than some of the competition, yet it maintains the high standards set by the other Kinsale’s B&Bs.
The quaint decor makes you feel at home, while the central location is ideal for exploring the town. Every time we’ve stayed, we’ve had a huge room, complete with a coffee machine, private bathroom, seating area, and a beautifully comfy bed.
But the main draw for me is breakfast. They offer a stunning, hearty full Irish that’ll set you up for a day of exploring!
The breakfast buffet is also a good choice if you’re looking for something a bit lighter. Finally, the staff always seem to have a smile and offer a warm welcome, and go out of their way to help.
