Just north of Dundalk, near the Flurry River, you’ll find one of the most popular hotels in Louth – Ballymascanlon House Hotel, where it has commanding views across the valley. Approaching the hotel, you know you’ve come somewhere special with its tree-lined private road.

The hotel comprises 97 private bedrooms, including 6 of the original luxurious Victorian suites. Catering to single, doubles, twin or triple occupancies, the hotel also offers family rooms with double and single beds, as well as accessible rooms.

Old Parochial’s location is ideal for those wanting to explore west of Dundalk. Nearby are the historic Clochafarmore Standing Stone (Cú Chalainn’s Stone), scenic Stephenstown Pond, and of course only a short trip into Dundalk itself.
