Irish Mudslide cocktail recipe steps
Right – the Mudslide drink recipe is super easy to follow and you can make it in three quick steps.
Below, you’ll find a recipe for making 1 Irish Mudslide – adjust the ingredients if you want to make more:
Step 1: Chill your glass with some ice, add chocolate syrup and chill again
We want to chill the glass, first. So, fill it with ice, place your hand over the top and swirl the glass around inside for 15 – 20 seconds, or until you feel the glass go cold.
Then empty the ice into your sink, drain out any water and dry the glass. You then want to take your chocolate syrup and drizzle it around the inside of the glass.
Then place the glass into your fridge for a few minutes until the chocolate sets. This is optional, but it’ll make your Irish Mudslide cocktail look very impressive!
Step 2: Add your ingredients to a blender
If you’re making the non-frozen version of an Irish Mudslide cocktail you’ll want to take 1.5 ounces (or roughly 1 shot) of Irish whiskey, 1.5 ounces of Baileys, 1.5 ounces of Kahlua and pour it all into a blender until it’s completely mixed.
If you’re making a frozen Mudslide, do everything above, but add in 2 scoops of ice cream to the blender and blend until everything comes together.
Step 3: Garnishing
For those of you making the non-frozen Irish Mudslide cocktail, pour your mixture into a glass and top it with some whipped cream. Finish it off with some chocolate shavings and you’re done.
For the frozen Mudslide, pour your mixture into a glass and shave some chocolate over the top.
