Treat yourself to a stay at Adare Country House, a beautiful wisteria-clad home just a 5-minute stroll from Adare Town.

It’s well located in a stunning area for countryside hiking and scenic drives. The owners go to great lengths to ensure guests have a memorable stay, right down to the home-baked bread at the breakfast table.

Rooms are beautifully furnished (one with a four poster bed) and include luxury fabrics and tasteful decor. This elegant home-from-home is sure to enhance your stay in Limerick.

2. Garrane House

Garrane House is just outside the pretty village of Croom. It offers a luxury B&B experience in a peaceful country manor. Guests are welcomed to this peaceful haven with tea and cake.

There’s a well furnished sitting room with fireplace for guests to relax and chat. Amble through the well-tended garden when the weather’s fine.

Situated on Main Street in Bruff, The Old Bank B&B is a lovely historic building, now converted and offering 5 elegant rooms and luxury spa baths.

Stay in a rural setting at Hazelwood Country House just 15 minutes from beautiful Adare. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and have everything you need for a good night’s sleep.

Bath robes and slippers are a definite plus. Some rooms also have a sitting area, terrace or balcony. Wake up bright and early and head down to a delicious breakfast before heading out exploring.

The home is surrounded by colourful landscaped gardens with lakes and water features providing restful views and peaceful surroundings. They also offer bike hire if you fancy exploring on two wheels.

5. Lyntom House

Lyntom House B&B is in a large detached house in its own grounds on the outskirts of Althea.

It includes a large communal sitting room, outdoor terrace and extensive gardens allowing guests to relax when not exploring the stunning area nearby.

Four large guest rooms are furnished for comfort and all have modern ensuite bathrooms with walk-in shower. As you would expect, the full Irish cooked breakfast served by the hosts is amazing.

Set in a quiet rural location, it’s the ideal base for a getaway exploring this scenic area.

6. Ballycannon Lodge

A warm welcomes awaits guests at the family-run Ballycannon Lodge in Croagh village near Adare. The large architect designed property has six bedrooms and exudes a comfortable laid-back atmosphere.

Furnishings are high quality including draped curtains and luxury fabrics. The fully tiled ensuite bathrooms include a range of luxury toiletries.

There is free parking, an excellent cooked breakfast and a restaurant in the adjoining garden centre which is all part of the owner’s property.
