First up is arguably one of the best hotels in Clare. In fact, it recently made it into the “Best in Ireland 2020” list so it’s definitely worth experiencing.

Set in an 18th century country house, the boutique Sheedys Country House Hotel in Lisdoonvarna boasts a tradition of hospitality, wonderful food and the chance to spend days exploring the nearby attractions.

Owned and operated by the Sheedy family, it holds 2 AA Rosettes for its restaurant and breakfast is something to really look forward to.

Elegantly furnished rooms, polished timber floors and attractive antiques create a stay you’ll never forget. This place is widely regarded as some of the best accommodation in Lisdoonvarna for good reason!

2. Royal Spa Hotel

Located on Main Street in the heart of Lisdoonvarna, the historic stone-built hotel has been welcoming visitors to the town and spa since before the Great Famine!

Set in a listed heritage building, the Royal Spa Hotel offers a calm relaxing haven with just 12 comfortably furnished rooms so you can be sure of personal and attentive service.

Welcome to Elements B&B, home and business of Keith and Christina. Surrounded by stunning countryside and views to Slieve Elva, the B&B is an easy 10 minute stroll from the Victorian spa town of Lisdoonvarna.

This spacious house has 6 Bedrooms, all ensuite with power showers, flatscreen TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. There’s even complimentary bottled water and homemade biscotti.

Sleep well on luxury memory foam mattresses behind blackout curtains – but don’t miss the excellent breakfast cooked to order. Take your pick from pancakes and mixed fruit, cereals, omelette, porridge, eggs just how you like then or the full works with Irish soda bread!

We just love the Wild Honey Inn with its warm welcoming atmosphere, cosy fireplace and natural surroundings. This award-winning 19th century inn is in the heart of the stunning Burren National Park.

It is Ireland’s only dining pub to be awarded a Michelin star (since 2018) with delicious cuisine prepared by chef/owner Aidan McGrath and his team.

Ensuite bedrooms have chic decor and luxury touches such as duck down duvets, Egyptian cotton sheets, quality antique furnishings and superb views to wake up to. Opt for a Garden Room and you’ll probably never want to leave!
