We somehow missed out on this place in our guide to the best places to go glamping in Ireland.

Annnnnd we also managed to miss it in our guide to Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings themed Airbnbs in Ireland

But we’ve got to it now… finally! And it was well worth the wait – welcome to a beautifully unique little hobbit hut in Leitrim that’s like something whipped straight from a movie set.

From the small round doors, grass roof, and handmade wooded beds to the surrounding nature, everything at this unique accommodation in Ireland will remind you of the Shire and the Hobbit movie.

The property is set within an organic cider farm where guests can sample the signature pink apple organic sider that is made from scratch.

Located in North Leitrim, the Hobbit House is without a doubt one of the most unique places to stay in Drumkeeran, Ireland. Live out your childhood Hobbit fantasies and spend a night at this lovely yurt.

This place can accommodate up to 6 guests and consist of two handcrafted king-size beds, two single beds, a kitchen, and a wood-burning stove. Guests have access to a private eco-toilet, fire pit, and BBQ facilities.

Feel free to walk around the orchard and listen to the sounds of nature. Families with children will be pleased to hear there is a play area for kids within the orchard.

The Hobbit House is a perfect accommodation to escape all the hustle and bustle big cities and embrace a slower pace of life.

Guests should keep in mind that breakfast and towels are not provided by the property. However, there is a traditional pizza oven that can be lit up for a small fee.
