We written about a lot of unique Airbnbs in Donegal over the last few months.
However, few, if any, are as finely situated for hikes and walks as the aptly named ‘Errigal House’ in Donegal.
A stone’s-throw from, unsurprisingly enough, Mount Errigal, this place is the perfect base for exploring some of the best that Donegal has to offer.
Welcome to Errigal House
You’ll find Errigal House, a spacious 4-bed eco-friendly home suitable for groups of up to 10, located at the base of Errigal Mountain in Donegal.
It’s an ideal base for those of you thinking about either climbing Mount Errigal or exploring the nearby Glenveagh National Park.
The property offers those that spend a night or two an almost endless number of spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and countryside from every window.
Imagine chilling with your cornflakes here as the sun rises?! Magic.
Errigal House is finely situated just 1.5km from Dunlewey Village, which lies between the magnificent Glenveagh National Park and the Wild Atlantic Way.
For those of you following our 3-day Donegal itinerary, you could easily make this place your base for one of the nights.
Just look at the view from the foot of the bed…
If you’re in search of a hike, you’ll have Mount Errigal, the tallest peak of the Derryveagh Mountains and the tallest peak in County Donegal, right on your doorstep.
You can also have a walk around Glenveagh National Park and tip into the lovely little village of Dunlewey.
