And this seaside town makes a wonderful base for a couple of nights away by the sea.

Kelly’s Resort is located right in front of the beautiful Rosslare Strand and it’s arguably one of the most popular family hotels in Wexford.

This 4-star resort hotel has everything you’ll need for a weekend by the sea, from tennis courts and a leisure centre to a crazy golf track and an outdoor hot tub.

There’s also heaps of dining options, like the Beaches Restaurant and the Ivy Room. This is one of the most popular Rosslare hotels for very good reason.

2. Ferryport House B&B

Ferryport House B&B is situated in Rosslare Harbour around a 10-minute drive from the centre Rosslare. This property features three different types of rooms; family rooms, twin rooms and double rooms.

Each room includes a flat screen TV, free Wifi, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities as well as a desk.

Breakfast and parking are complementary and here you will also find a restaurant serving local and international dishes. 

3. Ashley Lodge Bed & Breakfast

Ashley Lodge B&B is located in Ballycowan, around a 7-minute drive from Rosslare. This modern, family run B&B features a sitting room and a dining room where you will be served breakfast from 6.30 am to 9.30 am each morning.

It’s located in the middle of the countryside and includes a spacious garden and a parking area for all guests. Each room comes with wifi, a TV, an ensuite bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities. 

4. Tuskar House by the Sea

Tuskar House by the Sea is one of the best B&Bs in Wexford and you’ll find it around a 10-minute spin from the town centre. This property has double rooms, triple rooms, and two superior suites with a lounge area featuring a flat tv screen, a fireplace as well as a sofa.

The property was previously a family home but was recently refurbished and now offers clean and comfy accommodation. The reviews are excellent and it’s a nice alternative to the busy town.

1. Coast Rosslare Strand

If you’re looking for Rosslare hotels at the heart of the action, Coast Rosslare Strand is well worth considering. Home to a restaurant and a pub, Coast is a comfortable base to explore the surrounding county from.

You’ll have a hearty Irish brekkie on offer in the morning and bright, spacious rooms to chill in. Each of the rooms features an en suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, a flat tv screen and a desk.

You’re also a short ramble away from Rosslare Strand and all of the town’s attractions.

2. Coral Gables Guesthouse & Campervans

Coral Gables Guesthouse & Campervans is located in Grahormack, around a 6-minute drive from Rosslare. This pet-friendly guesthouse has 15 en-suite bedrooms and offers picturesque views of Wexford countryside.

Abrae House is located an 8-minute drive from the centre of the town. In this modern, family-run B&B you will find a number of en-suite bedrooms featuring a flatscreen TV, coffee and tea making facilities and a private bathroom.

Breakfast is included in the price and is served each morning from 6.45 am to 10.00 am. This property also provides its guests with free wifi and a private parking area. 

4. Padua Guest Accommodation

Padua Guest Accommodation is located in Kilscoran, less than a 10-minute spin from Rosslare Village. All the rooms of this property have been recently refurbished and feature an en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities as well as a flatscreen tv.

Breakfast is served every day from 6.45 am to 9.00 am and it includes a cold buffet with muesli, fruit and yogurt or you can opt for a full-Irish breakfast. 

5. Danby Hotel

If the various B&Bs and hotels in Rosslare don’t tickle your fancy, Danby Hotel is worth a look. It’s a 5-minute spin from Rosslare and it’s a good base to explore the town from.

Here you will find triple rooms, double rooms and family rooms as well as a triple room chalet and a double room chalet. This property also features an on-site restaurant where you will be able to enjoy a delicious dinner after a long day of wandering.

The menu includes dishes such as chicken, bacon and mushroom penne, bombay chicken curry and traditional Danby fish and chips.
