1. The Port Hotel

Just 350m from the beach, The Port Hotel is convenient for everything. Located on Main Street in Portrush, it’s close to the harbour, golf, shops, restaurant and amusements as well as the sea.

Guests receive a warm welcome and personal service at this family-run hotel which has a traditional atmosphere and comfy beds. There’s a popular restaurant and bar with family entertainment evenings that are enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.

2. Royal Court Hotel

One of the best located hotels in Portrush is the Royal Court, right on the clifftop and overlooking the town and famous Portrush Golf Club. It overlooks beautiful Whiterocks Beach which is known for its sand and surf.

4. Magherabuoy House Hotel

Magherabuoy House is one of the older Portrush Hotels, dating back to the 19th century. However, this elegant residence is finely kept and well located on the Causeway Coastal Route with superb views from its elevated position.

It is on the outskirts of Portrush and within 1km of the sandy beaches. It has been beautifully refurbished as an upscale modern hotel.

There’s a large car park and free Wi-Fi to keep in touch with family and friends. In the evening, socialise in the well-stocked bar sipping Guinness or a fine Irish whiskey in front of the logburner.

Tuck into traditional Irish cuisine in the bistro before a good night’s sleep. Close to coastal walks, several golf courses and the Giant’s Causeway, it’s a top choice.

It’s less than 1 km from famous Whiterocks Beach for swimming, surfing and long walks along the sand. The cosy sitting area has a cushioned corner sofa with fantastic sea views.

Harbour Heights is a proper family-run B&B offering a friendly welcome. It’s in a superb location overlooking the Blue Flag beach and is on one of the oldest streets in Portrush.

The property dates back to 1870 and has been carefully maintained to retain the familiar ambience as if you’re visiting family. Light and airy bedrooms (several with lovely sea views) have flatscreen TV, Wi-Fi and everything you need for a morning cuppa.
