1. The Port Hotel
Just 350m from the beach, The Port Hotel is convenient for everything. Located on Main Street in Portrush, it’s close to the harbour, golf, shops, restaurant and amusements as well as the sea.
Guests receive a warm welcome and personal service at this family-run hotel which has a traditional atmosphere and comfy beds. There’s a popular restaurant and bar with family entertainment evenings that are enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
Highly rated by past guests, you can look forward to starting each day with an excellent cooked breakfast. This is one of the most popular hotels in Portrush for a reason.
2. Royal Court Hotel
One of the best located hotels in Portrush is the Royal Court, right on the clifftop and overlooking the town and famous Portrush Golf Club. It overlooks beautiful Whiterocks Beach which is known for its sand and surf.
Highly rated by past guests for its location and cuisine, it has modern ensuite bedrooms with tea/coffee making facilities, TV and Wi-Fi. Some rooms include a spa bath, balcony and stunning coastal views.

The hotel has excellent guest facilities including luxuriously appointed bedrooms with flatscreen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and modern bathrooms with shower and bath. Many rooms have sea views as a nice bonus.
There’s a health suite with free use of the spa, sauna and steam room and you can book a massage therapy for a real treat. Enjoy a continental or full Irish breakfast and look forward to dinner in the bistro bar/restaurant.

4. Magherabuoy House Hotel
Magherabuoy House is one of the older Portrush Hotels, dating back to the 19th century. However, this elegant residence is finely kept and well located on the Causeway Coastal Route with superb views from its elevated position.
It is on the outskirts of Portrush and within 1km of the sandy beaches. It has been beautifully refurbished as an upscale modern hotel.
Spacious bedrooms are comfortably furnished and include free Wi-Fi, flatscreen TV, power showers and complimentary tea and coffee. The grounds include onsite parking.
Guests can enjoy fine dining is the bistro, tea room and bakery before relaxing in the lounge in front of the big screen. The Bushmills Distillery and Portrush Golf Club are 5 minutes away.

Overlooking the water and the lovely Whiterocks Beach, Albany Lodge is in the heart of Portrush. Popular with couples, it is close to the harbour, cafes, restaurants and nightlife.
Walk to the golf club or railway station in 5 minutes or hop in the car and you can be at the UNESCO-listed Giant’s Causeway in 15 minutes. Tastefully appointed rooms include modern ensuite bathrooms (some with spa baths), TV, tea and coffee facilities.
We would recommend an upgrade for stunning sea views. The light and airy dining room serves a choice of breakfast items to enhance your stay.
2. Inn On The Coast
This lovely Inn on the Coast is located on Ballyreagh Road just metres from the cliffs with magnificent views to Ramore Head. Make yourself at home in comfortably furnished rooms with Freeview TV and tea/ coffee facilities.
There’s a large car park and free Wi-Fi to keep in touch with family and friends. In the evening, socialise in the well-stocked bar sipping Guinness or a fine Irish whiskey in front of the logburner.
Tuck into traditional Irish cuisine in the bistro before a good night’s sleep. Close to coastal walks, several golf courses and the Giant’s Causeway, it’s a top choice.
3. Portrush Atlantic Hotel
Next up is another of the more popular Portrush hotels. Presiding over wonderful coastal views, the Portrush Atlantic Hotel has 69 contemporary bedrooms, many with ocean views. This four-star hotel has a lift, housekeeping and free Wi-Fi.
All bedrooms have ample space to relax, including a sitting area. There’s a great restaurant, the Port Kitchen and Bar, offering a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner menu.

4. Causeway Bay Guesthouse Portrush
Located on Eglinton Street in the heart of Portrush, Causeway Bay Guesthouse is opposite the railway station and Barry’s Amusements.

5. Hillrise B&B

The lovely garden and terrace offer a beautiful place to relax and read or simply enjoy the sea view. Modern rooms are tastefully decorated and fully furnished.

With an enviable location, this traditional guesthouse is on Bath Street and super-close to beaches and Waterworld. It’s also within easy walking distance of some of the best restaurants in Portrush.
Guests can make use of the shared kitchen facilities and dining area along with a common room for relaxing and watching TV. If you fancy a BBQ, there’s a courtyard garden with facilities.

It’s less than 1 km from famous Whiterocks Beach for swimming, surfing and long walks along the sand. The cosy sitting area has a cushioned corner sofa with fantastic sea views.

Harbour Heights is a proper family-run B&B offering a friendly welcome. It’s in a superb location overlooking the Blue Flag beach and is on one of the oldest streets in Portrush.
The property dates back to 1870 and has been carefully maintained to retain the familiar ambience as if you’re visiting family. Light and airy bedrooms (several with lovely sea views) have flatscreen TV, Wi-Fi and everything you need for a morning cuppa.
