I was sold on the idea of kipping in a hobbit hut, but it gets better. Way better. This place boasts a toasty wood-fired sauna where you can kick-back after a long hike.
There’s also a hot tub and an outdoor kitchen area where you can cook some pizza or fire up a BBQ. There’s also a bar (you’ll need to BYOB).
To top it off, there’s also a movie hall where you can kick back with a film (via chromecast).

What it’s like on the inside
I wasn’t expecting much from the inside of this place, but it looks pretty damn cosy. The reviews on Airbnb are also excellent, especially with regards to cleanliness and the service provided by the host, Stephen:
‘An amazing hobbit/fairy experience. Stephen and his family are absolutely lovely and really made the trip. Amazing hospitality.
Was also lovely to meet the other people who were staying there. Amazing craftmanship… still can’t believe Stephen built the whole place himself…. such talent and thought gone into every aspect of it. Just sorry couldn’t stay longer but dying to go back again another time. Thank you Stephen!’
The one thing to note is that the kitchen, toilet, and shower units are communal.
How much a night will set you back
