First up is one of my favourite hotels in Wexford – Treacy’s! This property has a commanding view of the River Suir and it boasts a 20-meter heated swimming pool, gym and leisure centre, both of which are complimentary for guests.

Rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with modern furnishings and fittings. There are three room types to suit any needs; Classic, Family, and Corporate.

Treacy’s is also home to 2 restaurants and a pub (the Temple Bar). If you’re looking for family-friendly hotels in Enniscorthy Town, you won’t go wrong with Treacy’s.

You’ll be hard-pressed not to fall in love with the Riverside Park Hotel and its superb location on the River Slaney. Located to the south end of Enniscorthy, the hotel is easy to reach and is also overlooked by this historic 16th century Enniscorthy Castle.

The 100 rooms on offer range from a luxurious ‘standard’ through to deluxe couples, spacious family rooms, and balcony rooms with unbroken panoramic views of the river.

In house facilities also include the Moorings Restaurant or the Alamo Steakhouse where you can enjoy the best of Irish cuisine, or the spa and pool for an indulgent treatment.

3. Wilton Castle

With a commanding presence over the banks of the Boro River, you’ll feel every bit the Lord or Lady of this grand estate. The castle has four suites available for your stay, with two suites on each of the ground and first floors.

Each suite is tastefully appointed with timeless pieces and using a heritage palate, they also include a private sitting room, kitchen and working fireplace.

The ideal location means you’re exactly where you need to be to enjoy activities like Wexford’s Playzone, go-karting, adventure kayaking, horse riding, historic sites and heritage parks, golf, and many other local attractions.

If you’re looking for hotels in Enniscorthy to mark a special occasion, look no further than the stunning Wilton Castle.

4. Blackstoops Lodge

More of a boutique bed and breakfast than a busy lodge-style hotel, Blackstoops Lodge is the perfect escape if you’re looking for a quiet, well-appointed, light and airy atmosphere that embraces your need to unwind.

Each of the rooms is lightly decorated to maintain a sense of openness, and to encourage natural light to flow through the room. The beds are generous and comfortable, and a private en suite benefits each of the rooms.

This accommodation is also conveniently located near of my favourite restaurants in Enniscorthy – The Bailey! You’ll get a slap up meal and a tasty cocktail there!
