Living in Dublin and struggling with cabin fever?
You’re not the only one. Although there are heaps of great walks in Dublin and, normally, plenty of things to see and do, these last 3 weeks of being stuck inside the county have been tough.
If you fancy escaping the gaff for a pocket-friendly night away while still adhering to the restrictions, you’re in luck, as there’s a clatter of Dublin hotels offering fairly decent deals.
Below, you’ll find 12 Dublin hotel deals where you’ll get a night’s accommodation, dinner, breakfast and, in some cases, much more, for under €126 per person.
1. The Brooks Hotel: €220 for B&B, cocktail on arrival, 2-course meal + private cinema experience
First up is the Brooks Hotel on Drury Street. The offer here includes an overnight stay in one of their ‘individually designed’ Classic Rooms for €220.
You’ll be given a cocktail when you arrive and you can chomp down on a 2-course meal in Francesca’s Restaurant in the evening.
You’ll also get breakfast (made to order) and a late check-out (14:00). Now, there’s also a private cinema experience in the hotels screening room.
However, you’ll ONLY get this if you book 2 rooms. This’ll suit family or friends looking for a break, but it’s not going to work for everyone. They do have more deals that you can have a snoop at here.
2. The Morrison: €199 for 1-night B&B + dinner for 2 + prosecco + more
Next up is the Morrison Hotel on Ormond Quay (about a 2-minute walk from the Ha’penny Bridge) and what they’re calling ‘the Big Deal’.
For €199, you’ll get a bottle of prosecco to sip away on in your room when you arrive along with some butlers chocolates to mill into.
Also included is breakfast, dinner for 2 in the Morrison Grill, early check-in and a late check-out (there’s no info on the check-in/out times).
You can also stay an extra night (with breakfast!) for an additional €100. Call the Reservations Team to book on +353 1 887 2422 or email [email protected]
3. The Gibson: €179 for 1-night B&B, superior room, 3-course meal + more
Next up is the Gibson Hotel over near the Three Arena. The deal here is pretty decent – for €179 you’ll kick back in a superior room for a night.
The deal includes a pre-dinner bottle of ‘bubbly’ (I’m guessing that’s prosecco and not champagne, but I could be wrong) and strawberries.
You’ll also get a 3-course dinner for 2, breakfast and a late check-out (14:00). More details right here.
4. The Clayton Charlemont: €179 for 1-night B&B, evening meal, cocktails + more
Next up is the Clayton Hotel on Charlemont Street. For €179 you’ll be treated to a night of ‘Romance and Luxury filled with charm and character with tranquil views of the iconic Grand Canal’, according to their website.
This deal includes a meal for two with cocktails to follow, a night in a luxurios bedroom (with complimentary upgrade) and an A la Carte breakfast.
They also say that you can ‘check-out at your leisure’, but I’m not sure if this means that you can literally just flake out in your room until whenever you fancy… You can find more info on the deal here.
5. The Dean: From €250 for 1 night B&B, welcome cocktail, Stella home cinema pack + 3-course dinner
So, the next hotel deal is a fair bit pricier than the previous 4, but it comes with a nice unique little twist.
For €250, you’ll get a 1-night stay for two with a drink on arrival, dinner in Sophie’s Rooftop Restaurant and a Stella Home Cinema Pack in your room.
You can also choose from having breakfast in bed or from the rooftop restaurant. More info on this one here.
6. The Green Hotel: From €169.50 for a 1-night stay for 2 with B&B, a 2-course dinner and 2 drinks
Next up is the Green Hotel which is, unsurprisingly enough, just off Stephen’s Green. This is one of the cheaper deals, with B&B and a meal costing just €169.50.
The offer includes a night in a newly re-designed room for 2 with a choice of 2 cocktails, beer or house wine followed by an indulgent 2-course dinner.
They also say that you’ll get a buffet breakfast included, but I didn’t think buffets were allowed to be a thing any more, so this is potentially an error. More info here.
7. Fitzpatrick’s Castle Hotel: From €199 for 1-night B&B and a 3-course meal for 2
Next up is the 4-star Fitzpatrick’s Castle Hotel in the very scenic (and very swanky) village of Killiney in South Dublin (the hotel’s up on the hill).
Known as the ‘Escape to Tranquillity package’, it includes overnight accommodation for 2 people sharing, a 3-course dinner and a full Irish Breakfast.
8. The Charleville Lodge: €150 for 1-night in a deluxe room, breakfast or brunch + 2 tickets to Dublin Zoo
If you follow the White Moose Cafe on Facebook or Instagram you might have heard yap about the ‘Lockdown Loco‘ deal at the Charleville Lodge in Phibsborough.
For €150, you’ll get one night in a Deluxe Room along with Breakfast/Brunch at The White Moose Café (the pancakes here are class!).
They’re also throwing in 2 tickets to Dublin Zoo (just down the road). Not bad going for just 75 quid per person.
9. The Spencer Hotel: From €249 for a night in a junior suite, dinner for 2, cocktails + breakfast
According to their website, the ‘Suite Life‘ deal is the Spencer’s ‘most extravagant and indulgent package yet’.
For €249 you’ll be treated to a night in a Junior Suite (with a spacious balcony and an open plan living area) and a pre-Dinner House Cocktail per person.
There’s dinner for two in the Lobby Lounge and complimentary overnight secure parking included. You can choose from having a full Irish breakfast in bed or on your own private balcony. There’s even a late check-out.
10. The Ashling Hotel: €149.60 for a night in a Deluxe King room with B&B and dinner
The 4-star Ashling hotel on Parkgate Street is offering what’s arguably the best value hotel deal in Dublin this autumn.
For €149.60, you’ll get overnight accommodation, a full Irish breakfast in Chesterfields Restaurant and an evening meal (main course only).
The only drawbacks of this deal is that you need to fork out €12.50 for parking if you’re taking the car with you. More info here.
11. Clontarf Castle: €189 for B&B, an evening meal and a complimentary bottle of house wine
Next up is Clontarf Castle Hotel and their ‘1-night luxury autumn getaway’ deal for 2. For €189, you can indulge in a 1-night stay with an ‘artisan breakfast’ in the morning.
An artisan breakfast… that sounds very ‘Celtic-Tiger-y’ doesn’t it! Also included is dinner in the AA Rosette winning Fahrenheit Restaurant on the evening of your choice.
They throw in a complimentary bottle of house wine, too! The hotel is a handy stroll to the Clontarf seafront, Bull Island and St. Anne’s Park. More info here.
12. The Westbury: €325 (yes, €325…) for a luxury 1-night stay with B&B and dinner in Balfes
OK, so this one is definitely going to cost more than €126 per person (€162.50 p/p…), but I’ve whacked it in as it’s the Westbury and a night here is a reasonably unique experience.
If you’re in search of a luxury hotel deal in Dublin, look no further than the very swanky Westbury Hotel on Balfe Street (just off Grafton Street).
For €325, you’ll get a 1-night stay for 2 in a luxurious room or suite with a ‘sumptuous à la carte breakfast’ to munch away on. In the evening, you can saunter down to Balfes and enjoy dinner for 2. More info on this deal right here.
